New Live at the Hollywood Bowl coming with unreleased tracks
A new 17-track compilation of recordings made by the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl from 1964 and 1965 titled The Beatles: Live At The Hollywood Bowl will be released on September 9th to coincide with the upcoming Ron Howard film The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years.
Capitol issued an LP titled At The Hollywood Bowl in 1977 containing 13 songs from the three Hollywood Bowl concerts in 1977, but the album was not included on CD when the band’s catalog was standardized in 1987, and it has been out of print ever since. A then-unreleased version of Baby’s In Black from a 1965 show was issued on the 1996 Real Love maxi-single, and a performance of I Want To Hold Your Hand was used on LOVE.
