The American version of Help! was unorthodox; the price was raised by a dollar, but featured only seven songs from the UK version, filling the vacancy with George Martin Orchestra instrumentals. The cover photo was rearranged so that  Paul seemingly points to the Capitol logo. Also, the title track was preceeded by what is often referred to as “The James Bond Theme”, but in fact is merely a spy theme spoof by composer Ken Thorne (this version was also included on the US version of 1962-66). The album was rereleased on CD in 2006 as part of the four disc set The Capitol Albums, Vol. 2 in both stereo and mono on one disc using the original Capitol masters, and again in 2014 in The U.S. Albums box set but featuring reworked EMI masters.
