John passes his driving test

On February 12, 1965 at 2:30 PM, The Beatles began their first recording sessions for what would become their album Help! But earlier that day, John took and passed his driving test, supported by Paul, George, and Ringo.

Even after passing the test, John rarely drove and was usually chauffeured by his driver, Les Anthony.
