It Won’t Be Long (Lennon/McCartney)
Written as a followup single to She Loves You, the song “never really made it”, according to John. The song deals with waiting for a young man’s love interest to be his, although many (including former girlfriend Thelma McGough) feel the song deals with the departure of John’s mother and father.
