Flying (Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr)

Recorded under the working title Aerial Tour Instrumental for the film Magical Mystery Tour, Flying was originally a nine minute-plus instrumental written by and the first song credited to all four Beatles. Originally the song contained a jazz-style coda but it was removed and replaced with a series of tape loops created by John and Ringo. The song was later edited to just over two minutes, and the loops were later used along with the original jazz ending in the instrumental track The Bus which was used at various points in the movie.
