The Beatles (Mexico, 1964)

Known simply as The Beatles, this three-disc box set was released in 1964 by then-current distributor Musart. Because Capitol Records, the North American distributor for the Beatles, did not have an office in Mexico distribution had to be given to another company. Musart released four unique albums of Beatles material as well as a special box set of the first three volumes – done somewhat hastily before Capitol could get their Mexican offices up and running.

This box set featured a triple gatefold cover and is believed to have been printed in an extremely low run – as low as 250 according to some sources. The discs were stamped using the same stamps as the original releases but featured different labels.
