Old Brown Shoe
(Harrison)
Song background
Based on a series of opposites (much like Paul's "Hello Goodbye"), George used "Old Brown Shoe" to introduce the
idea that by acheiving "divine awareness" one would no longer be concerned with right and wrong or the such. The
tune was built around a chord sequence that George had developed. It was used as a B-side for "The Ballad Of John
And Yoko".
