Written by John during the beginning of his lazy period in which he rarely left his bed (the same period in which he wrote "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!" which was a song with lyrics taken from an 1840s circus poster hanging on the wall beside his bed). During this point in the band's career, Paul became the leader who made sure they made it to rehearsals and made sure things went smoothly.
