Sessionsreleased on various labels Sessions has an interesting history - the contents and even the cover of the bootleg were part of an actual scheduled release by EMI. The album featured remixes, alternate versions, and unreleased tracks from the Beatles' career. It was a project under construction for over 20 years, and when completed was even assigned a catalog number. However, when the surviving Beatles found out about it they forced EMI to cancel the project. The tape found its way to a few private collectors and bootlegs were issued on several different labels, including Spank and Condor.
